Euroguidance Skills Fairs - North Macedonia

In a commendable initiative, the Euroguidance Center in North Macedonia, operating as the National Agency for European Educational Programmes and Mobility, is all set to host a series of three "Euroguidance Skills Fairs." These events are designed to empower 8th and 9th-grade students from rural schools, enabling them to make informed decisions about their future education and career paths.

The primary objective of these Skills Fairs is to provide students with the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations with representatives from various high school Vocational Education and Training (VET) institutions. These representatives will present their respective VET High Schools, offering valuable insights into the programs and opportunities available. This engagement aims to help students make informed decisions regarding which VET school aligns best with their career aspirations and interests.

The Euroguidance Skills Fairs are scheduled to take place at several strategic locations across North Macedonia, including Kriva Palanka, Strumica, and Bitola. This regional distribution ensures that students from different parts of the country have access to the valuable resources and information provided by the participating VET institutions.

Such initiatives play a pivotal role in promoting vocational education and training, making it more accessible to students in rural areas. The Euroguidance Center's efforts align with the broader goal of creating a well-informed and skilled workforce, thus contributing to the economic and social development of North Macedonia.

These Skills Fairs are expected to be a vital platform for students to explore their options, ask questions, and gain insights into the diverse vocational programs available to them. By bridging the gap between rural students and VET institutions, the Euroguidance Center is fostering a sense of empowerment and informed decision-making, ensuring that students can embark on their educational journey with confidence.

The Euroguidance Center's commitment to enhancing access to educational opportunities and promoting vocational training is a commendable endeavor. These Skills Fairs promise to be an essential step in the journey of Macedonian students towards successful careers and a brighter future.
