Archimedes Foundation is an independent body established by the Estonian government with the objective to coordinate and implement different international and national programmes and projects in the field of training, education and research. Archimedes is the implementing body of Erasmus+ and administers several national and international scholarship schemes for improving mobility, marketing Estonian higher education and research abroad. The evaluation of foreign qualifications is carried out by the Academic Recognition Information Centre (Estonian ENIC/NARIC centre), while Estonian Quality Agency for Higher and Vocational Education carries out institutional accreditation and quality assessment of study groups. The foundation is the Structural Funds Agency and is responsible for capacity building in the youth field with a special focus on international cooperation.

Euroguidance Estonia is the Estonian National Resource Centre for Guidance and since 1998 provides a range of services to Estonian guidance professionals and to professionals abroad. As a member of the Euroguidance Network we provide support in the areas of learning mobility and lifelong guidance development within education, training and employment at international level. Euroguidance Estonia is part of the Archimedes Foundation.

Estonia joined the Academia network in 2000 and, since then, nearly 160 practitioners and experts have visited Estonia and approximately the same number of Estonian professionals have had the opportunity to gain experience and knowledge abroad.
Are you interested in developing your own skills and competencies in relation to a global education and labour market? Would you like to expand your professional network and establish contacts with colleagues from other countries? Do you think that new inspiration from other countries and cultures might be good for your professional development? If yes, then the national Euroguidance centres are at your disposal.
