Employment Service of Slovenia, Euroguidance Slovenia has been updating, upgrading and promoting Where and How online guidance tool that helps guidance counsellors and individuals managing their career paths. Where and How program is available free of charge and is one of the main guidance tools for guidance counsellors in schools, career centres, adult education and employment offices. Currently around 97% of primary schools and 84% upper secondary schools use it in their work, mostly in transitions from lower to higher education or from education to labour market.

The guidance programme is available in 2 specialised versions:

- Where and How online guidance programme for students of primary and (upper)secondary schools and their guidance counsellors (this version does not include a module for assessing skills since most have not yet had a chance to acquire them);
- Where and How online guidance programme for higher education students, the unemployed and everybody interested in career change.

After answering the questions regarding features of occupations one can independently or together with school counsellor or career counsellor go through suggested occupations or make career action plan. One can also explore occupations by learning more about the occupation’s description, types of work (e.g. working with papers), different activities (e.g. woodworking) and personality style (e.g. caretaker).

Over 500 occupations descriptions are provided by Euroguidance Slovenia. One can browse through descriptions and explore the potential limitations of relevant career choices.
