Finnish guidance expertise seen and heard in Korea
The Finnish one-stop guidance service model, known asOhjaamo, attracted great interest at the international ICCDPP symposium organised in Seoul in June.
The ICCDPP symposium welcomed participants from over 20 countries, and several international organisations attended the event to discuss lifelong guidance and career planning. Experts from other countries were impressed particularly by the way in which customers have been involved from the very beginning in the design and development of the Ohjaamo service concept. Though the customer perspective is often brought up in the context of service design, the engagement of target groups is still quite rare worldwide.
