Finnish One-Stop Guidance Centres Ready to offer multi-agency services for the young

This publication in English illustrates the development path of the One-Stop Guidance Centers in Finland. The One-Stop Guidance Centers (Ohjaamo in Finnish) are an initiative where services are brought together under integrated support centres to shorten the service provision processes. These centers have received exceptionally wide support. Several ministries, the Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY Centres), the Social Insurance Institution of Finland (Kela), the public employment and business services, local authorities, NGOs and businesses have joined in to develop the multi-agency concept, on-theground leadership and, most importantly, to challenge conventional practices and operational cultures. In all this development work, the customers, the young people, have remained at the core. Access to the publication through this link.
